About Me

Fun loving guy from Umeå with an internship in a strange, new town three hours south in Sundsvall. Always looking for a new, fresh and exciting experience. So much that I would take a spontaneus 3.5 train ride to essentially deliver a pizza if it meant having fun.

Been fencing since I was 17 and that's my biggest passion, besides video games. I regularly travel around Sweden to participate in fencing competitions, so if you won't see me being pissed for not winning a competition -- you'll find me at a computer playing RPG-games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling, be it for a competition, for work, school or just to see the world. I have one rule; go local. No hotels, no typical tourist attractions. I want to meet the locals of the place I'm travelling to. I want to live a normal everyday life, if just for a weekend in that city. Because in my opinion, that's the best way to experience a city -- Tourist attractions are overrated.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movie is hard to chose. Here's a few that I absolutely LOVE and RECOMMEND to you guys

Favorite Trilogy: The Before Sunrise trilogy
Guilty Pleasure movie: Mean girls (Watch it with me again and it will have been my 7th time I've seen it)
Favorite movie to annoy my neighbors (because I always sing along): Grease.

Books:
Zombie survival Guide by Max Brooks
12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson

Music
I love me some indie pop. Listen to Honungsvägen (A band from my home town Umeå) and their song "Istid" and you have a good sense of my musical tastes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to slice a banana by throwing a playing card at it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of using & swinging and working out with a sword. Whatever you can teach me, I'm happy to learn, unless it's parachuting from a plane, I'm afraid of heights.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Epic stories of my boring, everyday life. And I'll even cook, assuming I haven't burned down the kitchen already. I like food that's very hot.

Countries I’ve Visited
