About Me

Hi, I’m David from Hungary. :) I am an eCommerce specialist and a constant challenger reinventing myself day by day. I’m on a never-ending venture to find out the meaning of life. Meet me up and I will tell you what it is for me (at least for now).
I worked for student organizations : AIESEC, AEGEE.
I love travelling off the beaten path, immersing myself in the local culture, and find the real, true experiences instead of the touristy ones.
My friends consider me a very sociable, open, straight person who is ready for the craziest adventures.

Personal development plays a big role in my life. I try to become a better version of myself every day. I started a debate/discussion club in Budapest. My purpose was to create an environment where we have a safe space to challenge each others' world view, opinion , share different ideas and learn from each other in a respectful way.

I'm very curious about everything around me, I really would like to understand your point of view, way of living/ thinking, your habits and culture.

I adore listening to music, it's really a significant part of my life. I listen everything: classical, jazz, swing, rockabilly, country, folk, alternative, rock, pop, hip-hop, electronic.

I can play the guitar, but just at beginner level. I really admire people who can play any instruments, or can sing.
I love dancing at parties to every kinds of music. I can dance a little salsa, bachata, ballroom, contemporary and hip hop dance.

Few years ago I made short movies with my friends and we won several prizes. First of all, I prefer meaningful movies, which make me think about life, relationships.

If I host you, you should feel home. Don't be shy or feel uncomfortable. If I accept to have you as a guest, you're part of my life for the days you stay here. So don't be afraid to ask for help. :)

I know sometimes it's time consuming to find a host, so I don't require to send me a personalized request. But please make sure that you have a detailed profile, that I can read through to get to know more about you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We presented our short movie at the local cinema and hundreds of people watched it.

I have been travelling in the Philippines for 4+ months by my motorcycle and in this way I could reach '"off the beaten path" places, roam around barely inhabited areas, face culture from its unique and authentic angle instead of the tourist spots. After that I have travelled around Taiwan by train for 2 weeks before heading back to Hungary.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My positive way of thinking, hospitality. :)
I also love joking and laughing.
You’ll have a separate bed in a separate room.
If I have time, I'll show you around, or invite you to join me for events.

From my flat it takes: 19 minutes to reach the city centre,
22 minutes to reach Buda castle,
35 minutes to reach the Parliament
