Overview
About Me
I live in a remote place on the edge of the rainforest. Kiwi can be heard calling at night. I work on a range of environmental issues in New Zealand and overseas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like meeting new people and sharing where I live. It's beautiful. Sometimes I need a little help in the vege garden or generally looking after the land. That can be more fun with two people having fun :) If so, we can come to a Wooffing arrangement. There is a cute little caravan for guests to stay in.
Interests
Music, writing, gardening, planting a fruit forest, ecology and conservation.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Lacuna by Babara Kingsolver (a favourite book), I like all sorts of music from Sinead O'Connor to Lorde and Radiohead to Rufus Wainwright. Usually like music with a decent dance beat tho.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked on international campaigns to stop overfishing, chased boats across the Pacific Ocean doing bad stuff and workedto create marine reserves.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love where conversations and experiences can take people. There is a lot to teach, learn and share. Ecology based learning is what I am good at.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A cute caravan to stay in, lots of laughs and sometime home made honey mead.
