About Me
I love to travel. So far it has mostly been in the US, but I am ready to travel the whole world! There are so many things out there to experience - and I'm all about living life to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've actually been doing this for a long time. I love to host people and play tour guide or give recommendations about the beautiful Superstition Mountains near me. I often visit or stay with people I know when I'm traveling so I can spend time with people, feel like a local, and find out about the best places to go and things to do, not necessarily the ones on the tourist guides. I'd much rather be immersed in a community than stay in a hotel. Since I live in a winter destination I have Yoga students all over the US and I love visiting or meeting up with them. I used to travel to Taiwan and Mexico for work, and loved hanging out with my work friends so I could experience the local life. A couple of my friends told me about couch surfing, and it seems like a great fit for me. I'm excited about it, and very grateful that so many people are interested in connecting in this way!
Interests
I love nature, especially animals, waterfalls, beaches, and mountains. I like playing in nature - hiking, running, snowboarding, wakeboarding, swimming, canoeing, camping, and more. I enjoy history and culture as well, but I'm not into shopping so much. I love music and dancing, and like to see good local bands (mostly rock). I enjoy going to Yoga classes, drum circles, and cool spiritual gatherings. I love a good uplifting conversation. I lead Yoga and Meditation Retreats, so I'm also on the lookout for great places to do that all over the world.
