ABOUT ME

Hi I am Bob from Belgium, yesyes the land of chocolate. With our Bourgon roots I am proud to call myself a foodie (crazy about eating and drinking:). To prevent myself of getting stuck in chairs or revolving doors I enjoy sports (playing waterpolo, biking... and practically everything I haven't tried before). I finished my studies as a social-political geographer, but as I didn't feel any wizer and still wonder what's wrong with the world I have started international politics. Though I doubt this will give me insight I find it very interesting to do. I used to earn my living in development aid (supporting a global awareness, promoting fair trade, etc..) in the small town of Merelbeke. But two years ago I was elected and pulled into formal politics.

Besides this I have the tendency of finding practically everything and everybody interesting and love to stop and take my time to explore what others might pass by on because they are too busy or want to see/feel/experience it all.

PHILOSOPHY

The noble savage. Do not care for elegance. Its overrated. Take interest and time to get to know the passionate wildman, shy and living isolated in the woods. The world needs rewilding to give people a sense of diverse adventure again. Do everything slow if you don't want to miss out on the small details enjoy every step. Oh yeah and do everything in style :)
