ABOUT ME

Hiya,
I am Mina from Germany. I moved to Scotland 8 years ago to be an aupair. Afterwards I decided to study for 4 years at the University of Stirling. Now I am a stay at home mum of a beautiful 3 year old boy. We moved back to Germany in September 2015.
When I did my exchange semester I lived and studied as an exchange student in Victoria. We went on a road trip around the olympic peninsula, Yosemite National Park and west California afterwards. The next summer, my friend and I went to head to Barcelona, then to Cevennes National Park for a fieldcourse, followed by Paris and Germany. I think that pretty much reflects what I am kinda like. Outgoing, spontaneous, open minded, all over the place and always happy to see new places and travel :-)
I cant wait to see the world. Next destination after Scotland and Canada is probably Thailand and Singapore :-) I can't wait :-D

PHILOSOPHY

Just live your life and don't live another life you don't want just to make other people happy. Be yourself and don't change yourself just to fit in a group. You don't have to have a lot of money to be happy, just follow your dreams.
There is also a german proverb which I love, it says that if you see the world from the eyes of a child and listen to a childs stories you will see the world in a way you have long forgotten.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosting a lot of people on my couch from all over the world, but that was before I found the Couchsurfing homepage, but I guess it still counts :-D
During my Road Trip around Yosemite and the west coast of America I surfed couches in Seattle, Yosemite, Santa Cruz, Arroya Grande and Los Angeles and it has been an amazing experience. Every host was amazing and we were really lucky to have met them. I hope I can be such an amazing host and give the same experience back to other couchsurfers who will surf my couch.
I also went to 2 couchsurfing meetings in Scotland and it was sooo great fun.

兴趣

I am interested in so many things. I just love learning more every day about anything.
I love travelling and meeting new people, playing the Guitar or Piano, meeting friends, going out, doing sports or doing creative things like art and crafts or scrapbooking. I love being out in the nature. Scotland has such nice countrysites so that I really enjoy going hiking or camping.
Professionally I am totally into Cell Biology and love my studies. I know its nerd like, but I cant help it :-D

音乐、电影和书籍

I read all kind of books: fantasy, dark fantasy, fiction, non fiction. At the moment, I am reading the books from Kelley Armstrong. Cool stuff :-D

I listen to all kind of music, even though I prefer rock but am really open minded about all kind of music. I also listen to quite a bit of classical music. It is just soooo relaxing :-D

Becoming good pals with Nessi and visiting her regularly to have a coffee and chat ;-)
Becoming a mum has been the most magical thing ever....

教，学，和分享

I can play the piano/Keyboard and the Guitar and can teach some basic stuff. Even though I could need some practice on the guitar or a good teacher, to teach me more :-D

I can also teach you german,
I would like to learn spanish, finnish or swedish. Or chinese would be awesome as well.

I am totally obsessed with card games. I can teach you Phase 10, Skip Bo, Ligretto or UNO. All very cool games. Let me know :-)

I am open for anything new to learn. Life is too short and I want to have learned as much as I could. It's never to late to learn something new. Never mind how old you are.
