Overview
About Me
I am 22 years old, I love to travel and to meet interesting people. I study in Vienna. I grew up in Vienna, my native language is Turkish and I have a Greek passport. I study international business. I travelled a lot in Central and Eastern Europe. I also used the choir exchange program at my high school so I stayed with other students. These experiences showed me that if you stay with locals you get a totally different picture of a country. And one week with a local is enough to learn the language of a country for a small talk. I have fallen in love with slavic culture, languages and people. So I have chosen Russian as my second foreign language for my international business study. I hope that I can work in the future for a company with a focus on slavic market.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I know that meeting a local person is always better then asking a receptionist for interesting places, and I love to meet new people.
Travelling means for me meeting new and different people. I am not really interested in sightseeing. I am interested in seeing the real life.
Interests
politics, history, slavic culture and russian girls
Although I write I am not interested in sight seeing I am interested in listening to the history of a country.
I love to play 'I never ever' 🍻
Music, Movies, and Books
author: Milan Kundera, movie: V for Vendetta
I hope that I can read Kundera books in the original language. I have watched this movie nearly every 3 months since 7 years in different languages.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Waking up and deciding to travel at the same day.
Teach, Learn, Share
