My name is Ferran and I am originally from a small countryside town located in Spain. Currently working in the clinical trials field, background in nursing and started marine sciences degree in 2014 (never finished). Quitted my job thrice, with no regrets. My first experience in CS was back in 2009 and since then I have surfed +40 countries and hosted many globetrotters too.

My main reason to come back and remain in this place is connecting with other solo-backpackers, free-spirits, wildcampers, hitchhikers and sail lovers. Love exploring new places, cultures and making new friends along the way. So please, never stop sharing your enriching stories, tips and knowledge about your adventures.

Defined as laidback guy, down to earth, open-minded, easy-going and good-natured. Interested in outdoor activities, long talks, challenges, environmental consciousness and to learn/understand different lifestyles. Can speak 5 languages, none of them well. Things I enjoy the most: eating, cooking, hikking, discovering and flying.

Mostly into solotravels (sorry I really love to hitchhike alone), but as you all know, happiness is only real when shared.

- 4.249Km hitchhiked in Central America, 2½ months, 2018.
- Atlantic Crossing on a 40ft sailing vessel, 3.420NM, Dec 2017-Jan 2018.
- Climbed Aneto Peak (3404msnm), July 2017.
- 21.066Km hitchhiked in South America, 7 months, 2017.
