About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My hobby is learning languages. I'm actively absorbing scraps of about a dozen languages when I meet people who speak them. I will travel to Europe this summer, and so am studying French, Portuguese, and Greek.

ABOUT ME

I like to go out to be active and social. Kava bar open mics, drum circles, yoga class -- fun, novel stuff is my lane.

I have traveled over a good amount of the United States and visited a few other countries. I love East Asia.

PHILOSOPHY

People should be nice to each other. Respect each other's interests and tolerate their behaviors as long as they are not infringing on the rights of others. I am offended by pollution, whether it be sound, sight or smell. Others should not have to be bothered by one's excesses.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host clean, conscientious people for a night or two. No drugs, pets, or stinkiness. It is a good cause! But, I also would like to stay at someone's house some time to save money instead of paying for hotels. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For a while I was living with my mom but regularly staying in a city about four hours' away. I stayed at a lot of friends' houses and learned how to behave myself when couch surfing. Those skills came in handy couch surfing in Utah and Colorado as I moved from CA to Ohio. I have also hosted a couple times.

Interests

I like to listen to music, watch basketball, read, write and hang out with friends.
