Just finished a three year stint in New Zealand and am back to living out of a backpack for a few months before going home to Canada.

I've most recently worked as a bartender/bar manager but I'm hoping, at some point in the future, to get into marine conservation.

I love the outdoors (hiking, the ocean, wildlife), cooking tasty veg meals, and getting to know different places, people and cultures. As a previous bartender, I love trying new beers, wines, and cocktails, especially if they're unique to the country I'm in!

This community is proof that hospitality and kindness towards strangers do still exist! Not to mention, it's an awesome way to get to know locals while traveling and to get a taste of what a city is really like beneath the touristic surface.

Sufjan Stevens, The National, Sampa the Great, Royal Headache, Downtown Boys, Songhoy Blues, St Lucia, Courtney Barnett, Asgeir Trausti, The Boom Booms, Frank Ocean, etc etc etc. I'm always keen to get to know more artists/bands!
