Understatement might be the best way to humour. ex. Les Meserables was about a guy that steals a candelabra and feels really bad about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have hosted many a fair bottom on my couches over the years, But now adays get inundated with requests every day. I pretty much only respond to people that clearly have taken the time to read my profile.
Also, it’s sucks that I have to blatantly say this nowadays but I’m NOT into using this as a dating app. I’m just down for meeting peeps and exchanging good times. If your looking to hook up, go elsewhere. There are a plethora of other apps for that.

Interests

Oh man, how do I adequately answer this...

Well for starters, hanging out is pretty much my favorite thing to do ever. And hanging out whilst doing something worthwhile (i know, the concept is both subjective and widespread, but point still stands) is up there with the best things on this planet. That said, my favorite way to hang out are those that involve spending little to no money. For instance:

Games: From pente to D&D, I love ALL games that arnt virtual (and even then i would play sonic or super mario bros. in a second if one offered). My favorites are co-operative games, so if you ever want a charades partner or want to save the world in Pandemic, HIT ME UP. But also, if you ever want to be crushed in Risk, i'm also always down.

I enjoy awful films (and good ones)... notable favorites being The lost Boys, Repo Men, They live, subway, The fifth element, legend, near dark, children of men.. ones i can think of off the top of my head.. Sitting around a screen with people and watching particularly dire films though has a huge place in my heart.

Figuring out the way things work in general is a love of mine. Because of this im always looking for a good conversation, be it talking history, mechanics, philosophy, politics (etc).

Other then those I pretty avid gear-head and get entirely to excited when there's something mechanical to fix or figure out.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as reading goes I dig Sci-fi most of all, but enjoy most lit. Cant really think of that many off the top of my head but Notable favorites are Cats Cradle, Lord of Light, A hundred years of Solitude, Welcome to the Monkey House, Slaughter House 5, War is a force that Gives us Meaning, The Dispossessed. and many many more..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

what i find amazing isnt so much the things i've done so much as the people i've met along the way. iḿ pretty damned awestruck every time i get to hang out with someone new and especially if i get to work with them.
