ABOUT ME

My name is Nique,

I love to travel and to learn diffrent cultures. My hobby's are dancing, cooking, and traveling. I have been traveling on and off during my study and lived half of the time abroad. Traveling has become a big addiction and a big eye opener as it makes you more open minded. Before I started traveling I could never imagine myself hitch hiking, living in a squat, sleeping in a 15 dorm room, staying with strangers or even staying in a resort for free.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couchsurfing! The first time was when I was 20 and I was backpacking for the first time. It was amazing I've met so many kind and amazing people. Stayed friend with most of them.

I love the fact that they will enrich your life and make your travel even more special. I would recommand couchsurfing to everybody!

Music, Movies, and Books

Eat, pray and love is by far my favorite movie and inspiration to travel.

I like all kinda of music. But mostly I like edm, techno and I love to find a doof every now and than. As traveling connects me with different and open minded people I would give psy trance a chance. Not because I like the music to much, but the environment and atmosphere is awesome. Maybe it's just the gypsy life that connects it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiking in Fiji and ended up getting invited to stay at the shangri la resort. That is true "traveling the champagne life on a lemonade budget" experience
