CURRENT MISSION

Je n’ai jamais vraiment de travail car si c’est vraiment un travail, je m’ennuis. A la place, je fais plein de choses, rémunéré ou non, qui me permettent de profiter de la vie.
Je suis pompier volontaire depuis maintenant six ans, ce qui m’a permis de me former dans bien des domaines et faire une saison d’hiver dans les Alpes à skier un jour sur deux. Enfin seulement quand il faisait beau, faut pas abuser…
Je suis aussi bénévole (gabier) sur l’Hermione, la frégate de la liberté, un navire du IVIIeme reconstruit à l’arsenal de Rochefort en Charente-Maritime. Je passe beaucoup de temps à entretenir le bateau lorsqu’il ne navigue pas et à naviguer à ses cotés lorsqu’il navigue.
Mon père est paysan en agriculture biologique en Corrèze et, étant donné que je reprendrai la ferme dans quelques années, je l’aide beaucoup. Nous avons notamment planté près de 50 pommiers récemment et nous planterons bientôt 150 fruitiers de plus qui donneront dans quelques années.
Et puis sinon, je me promène !

I have never really work because if it’s really a work, I get bored. Instead, I’m doing a lot of things, paid or not, witch make me enjoy the life.
I’m firefighter since six years, it permeated me to be trained in many areas and to do a winter season in the Alpes, skiing every other day, don’t abuse…
I’m also volunteer (gabier) on the Hermione, the frigate of the liberty, a ship frem the IVIIe century rebuild at the arsenal of Rochefort, in France. I spend a lot of time maintain the boat when she don’t sail and to navigate whit her when she sails.
My father is farmer in organic agriculture in the centre of France and, as I will take it in a few years, I help him. We have notably plant 50 apples trees recently and we will plant more than 150 fruit trees soon and they will give in a few years.
And then, I walk there and elsewhere!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Le Couchsurfing est, comme l’autostop, un bon moyen de rencontrer du monde et particulièrement les locaux. Partager un moment particulier dans l’inconnue offre les meilleurs souvenirs. De plus, pour être sincère, sauver peu d’argent et avoir un peu de confort pendant mes voyages m’incite aussi à être sur Couchsurfing. Cependant, j’essaye au maximum de donner, par mes actes, quelque chose en retour. Je suis conscient qu’héberger des personnes peut être pesant à la longue.

Couchsurfing is, as hitchhiking, a good way, for me, to meet people and particularity locals. Share a unique moment in the unknown gives the best souvenirs. And, to be true, set aside a bit of money and get a bit of comfort during my trip incite me also to be in Couchsurfing. However, I try to give a maximum, by my fact, something in return. I’m aware that, host someone, can be heavy in the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

J’ai rencontré un espagnol qui travaillait en Norvège et qui hébergeait également un turque. C’était une très bonne soirée à parler du pays, de leurs vies et de voyage.
Quand j’ai pris l’avion pour la Nouvelle-Zélande, j’ai rencontré à l’arrivé à Auckland un français qui se rendait au même Couchsurfing que moi. Je suis resté trois nuits chez un polynésien et deux autres gars, le français et un allemand. C’était trois jours exceptionnels de partage, de marche dans la ville et de bons moments.

I met a Spanish guy in Norway, who also hosted à Turk. It was a very good evening to talk about the country, their life and traveling.
When I flew for New-Zealand, I met a French at the check-in at Auckland and this dude was going to the same Couchsurfing as me. I stayed three night with a Polynesian host, and two others guys, the French and a German. It was three amazing days sharing, to walking in the city and having fun moments.

Interests

J’aime le sport et je pratique particulièrement l’escalade, la slackline et le rugby.
J’aime skier l’été et marcher l’hiver… Mais c’est compliqué et je le fait plutôt dans l’autre sens. Mais pour ce qui est de nager je peux le faire toute l’année et j’essaye de le faire. Si je deviens trop bleu, j’arrête. C’était d’ailleurs mon travail d’été quand j’étais étudiant. J’etais supposer sauver les baigneurs mais je n’étais pas trop occupé alors je regardais plutôt les jolies filles à travers mes lunettes de soleil.
Et comme je disais au-dessus, je suis aussi volontaire sur l’Hermione et ça m’a donné le goût de la mer !

I like and I piratic sport: climbing, slackline, rugby…
I like skiing the summer and walking the winter... but it's hard and I do it the other way... But I can swim every time and I try to do it, if I get to blue I surrender! And it's was my summer work when I was student... I was supposed to save others but I wasn’t busy and I looked pretty girls trough my sunglasses.
As I said, I’m also volunteer on the Hermione and it gave me the test of the sea !

Music, Movies, and Books

J’ai regardé beaucoup de séries et je continue de rafarder celles que je préfère (stranger things, Vikings, Peaky blinders, Games of throne…). Pour les films : "into the wild" like all of you... "Fight club", "Snatch", "Requiem for a dream" and "Je vais bien ne t'en fais pas." Et seulement en VO !
Pour ce qui est de la musique, j’au tout excepter le rap et le hardrock. J’écoute essentiellement de la musique du monde (ça veut pas dire grand-chose…) et de l’electroswing. J’aime les festivals and j’apprend à danser (salsa et folk), à chanter (chants marins et accompagnement guitare) et à jouer des instruments (guitare et harmonica)
Je lit depuis peu mais sur beaucoup de sujets comme la spiritualité, la philosophie et la permatculture… J’ai aussi lu deux bonnes séries : Harry Potter en anglais et le sorceleur.

I watched many TV shows and I keep watching the ones I love For the movies :
For the music, I like everything excepted rap and hardrock. I’m mostly listening world music (it doesn’t mean anything…) and electroswing. I like festivals and I learning to dance (salsa and folk), sing (Sea shanties and guitar songs) and play music (guitar and harmonica)!
I'm reading since not long but about many subjects as spirituality, philosophy, permaculture… I have also read two good series: Harry Potter in English and The witcher.

Je peux vous apprendre à faire un rubi’s cube ou à fabriquer un didgeridoo. Evidement je peux aussi partager bien des choses suivant les moments. J’aimerais aussi apprendre autant de choses que possible et que mon corps me le permet car nous ne savons jamais asser.

I can teach you how to do a rubi's cube or to craft a didgeridoo. For shur, I can also share many thinks. I wanna also learn as many things as possible and as my body permeated me because we never know enough.
