About Me

At the moment I am living in Canterbury after fate decided. The house I live in is beautiful and old, with a lovely garden, and I want to share it.

Si lo so
Amore che io e te
Forse stiama insieme
Solo qualche istante
Zitti stiamo
Ad ascoltare
ll cielo
Alla finestra
Questo mondo che
Si sveglia e la notte e`
Gia cosi lontana
Gia lontana

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now hosted many many times- some ok people and some real dudes. Since March 2013 I have been surfing thanks to couchsurfing.org and have had nothing but very good experiences. When in Vancouver I slept in the same room as many couchsurfers in the house I went on to rent a room in, there must have been a million in the six months I was there. Maybe a zillion.
All the people I have hosted in the last year have been a blessing, even if it's because I know I’ve helped them and made them feel at home. It's like being on holiday when you host, and some of them I’ll know for a long time.

Interests

I enjoy working toward a greater synchronicity, adding more dimensions to my blank canvas, my love, each day, and learning to appreciate things more as I get smarter, like I'm waking up to life.
I like to sing and play instruments, as many as possible, and I like to draw and paint and make jewellery and design clothes. More as time passes I love learning languages. And macrobiotics. And Permaculture. And Permaculture. Wow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Back to the Future, Douglas Adams, Hermann Hesse, Haruki Murakami, Tolkien, Neil Gaimen, Haruki Murakami, Haruki Murakami, Wes Anderson, What We Do in the Shadows, Jim Jarmusch, David Lynch, Sufi poetry, Tim and Eric, Haiku. And kinda like 81% of music since the dawn of time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm no monk, but I have been to some superb corners in my mind (mind being the best word I could come up with).

Apart from in my mind - Once I saw a rainbow halo around the full moon. Circling this much further away was another, white ring. A year or so later I told someone and that night it happened exactly the same.

Teach, Learn, Share

The ratio of any two consecutive Fibonacci numbers approximates 1.618 or its inverse, 0.618 (after the first few numbers), getting closer and closer and closer closer to the golden ratio, the blueprint for the spiral that's seen all throughout life the universe and everything, and a number that some say goes on and on and some say does not.
This wows me.
I don't know if anyone will get this, or entertain the thought, but if it does not go on forever then that could prove that infinity is a finite number. Before I knew about what I have been writing here, only a few months ago, I had a thought, like a light bulb above my head, about how infinity is a finite number. The next day I accidentally stumbled upon a film about a guy, I think centuries ago, who tried and tried to prove it. He kept losing faith, and marbles, and died an official weirdo. Though anything else in maths is all greek to me and just as handy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know some things about playing musical instruments, Singing, Permaculture and about health/herbs/infinite potential/macrobiotics.
