About Me

Basically I am a psychomotrician, I worked for 10 years in a hospital with the elderly, and in palliative care.
Since 2020 I am a kinesiologist, and my practice is at home.
(See details below :) )

My family is essential to me. As I really like to travel and live lots of strong experiences, they are my anchor.
We live in the suburbs of Paris, in Essonne. We decided to settle here because we wanted our children to grow up "feet in the ground".

Marc, my husband, is very curious by nature. He enjoys learning in all areas. History, philosophy, ecology and renewable energies, personal development,...
He is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
He is an engineer at Renault, a French car manufacturer.
Thanks to his work, we had a wonderful expatriation experience in Slovenia for 2 years (2013-2015).

Lucille (apr.2011), is a bright young girl, sensitive, smiling, curious about everything, very sociable. A little adventurer who crunches life to the fullest! She loves drawing, inventing stories, reading, cats, chatting with her best friends for hours!

Augustin (dec.2012), is a lively young man, observant, who likes to play with words, numbers, and loves any new experience that requires some reflection. He likes to transmit, and often goes to younger children, to teach them things. He has a great passion for the video game Minecraft !!

Antonin (sept.2016) is a bubbly little clown, very comfortable in the relationship, and with a smile that makes you want to bite his cheeks :) He likes to design Brio train routes, and build cable cars that go through his whole room! For him: the adventure is ok, but I measure the risks and I start with care. Here is his motto!

Newton (apr.2018), the son of the family (and my 4th child <3), is round like a small balloon, and very cuddly. He doesn't seem to fear anyone: he lands in front of the garden gate to collect as many caresses as possible from passers-by!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After so many extraordinary CS experiences, solo or as a couple, I want to discover couchsurfing as a family. More new adventures!
During the summer of 2019 we did couchsurfing as a family, in an English family. The kids loved it, and so did we! The experience made us want to start again, because that's how we make the best memories: in sharing <3

Every time I meet someone who travels and who doesn't know about couchsurfing, I talk about my experience, because in my opinion, once you've tasted CS, other trips (hotel/museum) seem so bland!

My CS Highligts so far: New Zealand, Japan, Turquey. I felt like I socialised more in a few months than in 5 years :) I feel that it changed me.
I joined 2 CS meetings in Japan, and I organised a hanami (picnic under a cherry tree in Japan) with other couchsurfers.

Interests

I am passionate about human nature, managing emotions and psychology. I am also in a spiritual search, meditation, dance-medicine, Tantra, and I love to discuss all the essential subjects: the meaning of life, what connects us, the language of Nature that surrounds us, putting my hands on a very old tree, or what I see in my cat's eyes :)
I love horses, I have ridden since I was young, and when I visit a new country, I like to go for a ride, if it comes up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One night in the Thar Desert (Rajasthan, India 2008), with camels and... scorpions, under the stars and battling against a strong wind.
Early in the morning, covered with sand, a beautiful sunrise awakened us.
All around my mattress, full of traces in the sand: beetles and scorpions had visited us. Fortunately I didn't share my "couch" with these frightening guests!

Teach, Learn, Share

* My 1st job, psychomotrician in hospital, taught me about interpersonal relationship. I'm fascinated by parent-child interactions.
* My job today, kinesiologist, enriches my knowledge of humans, their functioning, their complexity, their hidden treasures. I learn to trust my feelings, the information my hands receive, and how they transmit.
