Open-minded students

Hey guys,

We are a young couple living in Halle (Saale).
Emilie is start-up founder at Hülsenreich (www.huelsenreich.de) and food blogger (emiliestreats.de). As you can tell, she is really passionate about food, a hobby that is very visible at our home as well.
Bastian is completing his masters in mathematics and working part time at a different start up in Halle. He is the geek of the two, interested in all things internet-ty and films, music and video games.

After we finished high school, we spend a year traveling through New Zealand and Bali, an experience that shaped us in many different ways and pathed our way for even more travels in the future. Now we are active CS-hosts and surfers and love getting to know new people.
If you would like to stay with us, we appreciate a nice request message that tells us a bit about you and your plans. As you will be staying in a shared room (a.k.a. our living room), we won't be able to host you for more than three nights!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We made our first CS steps in India, which was the best thing we could have done. It opened up new worlds for us and made us realize (again!) that the best way to travel a country is to spend as much time with the locals as you can.
We've been wwoofing and on workaway as well and find each platform extremely useful while traveling.

Though we didn't expect a lot of people coming to Halle, we were surprised by and happy about the number of requests we had in the past. We love to host people and find the reasons to come here very interesting. We've made some great friends via CS and are traveling to see them again soon.
