HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and would love to CS in other locales.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted people for years, unofficially. Have enjoyed having students from Korea, England and China for several weeks in a row. On the flip side, we had a great introduction to CS as a guest of a wonderful host in Spokane, WA, where I was for a conference. Recently, we've hosted a thoughtful young man from Louisiana, an employee-traveler between National Parks, and an author from Australia - all interesting people.

Interests

Love to host potlucks and be sociable.
We have happy feet and they live for dancing!! : NC2S, West Coast/ East Coast Swing, salsa, 2-step, tango, and Zydeco (Gator by the Bay, anyone?!), and will move to just about anything that creates rhythm !
Loren loves all things Volvo and is in the local club.
We hike for fun when we've got the time and friends for good company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Emily had 2 babies naturally - amazing experience to feel one's body, out of control, but producing a miracle!
Surviving PA school.

For Loren - climbing to the top of Mount St. Helens - incredible, amazing, "it made me feel that 'nature is huge, and I am small".

Teach, Learn, Share

Could teach dance: East Coast swing, Zydeco, night club two-step, Foxtrot, waltz, beginner salsa.

What I Can Share with Hosts
