Hello everyone, my name is Emmanuel, I'm 21 years old, and I'm Canadian. I'm a person who gets along well with everyone and loves being outdoors, camping, meeting new people, traveling, and trying and learning all sorts of things. I speak fluently french, english and a bit of german. I am currently taking spanish lessons to prepare for my next trip, which will be in South America during the summer of 2024:).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of connecting with locals and immersing myself in their culture. No one knows a place better than the people who call it home, and that knowledge is invaluable to me. I'm genuinely passionate about engaging with locals, sharing experiences, and learning from their stories. Couchsurfing allows me to foster authentic connections, contribute to the community, and create meaningful travel experiences. It's about more than just finding a place to stay; it's about embracing the true spirit of cultural exchange. I believe that a stranger is a friend which we did not meet, yet!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books : I used to read a lot when I was younger, but I don't do it that often nowadays, I prefer spending time practicing the guitar!

Music : I enjoy various different styles of music: rock, jazz, blues, rap, pop, etc.
My favorite band is Pink Floyd.
Some of my other favorite artists include Tool, B.B. King, Guns N' Roses, The Beatles, System of a Down, etc.

Cinema : I like watching movies, my favorites are : Pulp Fiction, The Truman Show, Avatar, Inception, Interstellar, 21 jump st, Catch me if you can...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took one month during the summer of 2022 to hitchhike Canada (+ 5000 km) and I had never hitchhiked before. It was an amazing experience and I met some really cool people. I am now unfortunately, now, addicted to hitchhiking!
