I love to travel, knit, and am learning to play the bagpipes. And icecream. I love icecream. I have four great kids aged 14-20. We love to travel, both as a family, and individually whenever we have a chance.

We are lifelong members of Hostelling International, but meeting people in their homes is a much more personal experience

Interests

Currently supporting 4 teen/pre teens find their passions in life is my current responsibility. I pick up my knitting needles whenever I can, play bagpipes with a local band, and am a 'retired' marathon runner.

Whenever I can get a spare few minutes, I have grown addicted to Call the Midwife, and Downton Abbey. I love to read parenting books for work, but get lost in a murder mystery.

I have climbed to the top of a beautiful glacier in New Zealand.
