About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a sommelier of life exsperiences

ABOUT ME

Ever since I was in High School I have spent my holidays traveling alone around the world.

After completing my Masters at a Japanese University I decided to stick around a bit and 10 years latter I'm still here.

My hobbies include partying (which is why I opened a small bar) and music. I also try and squeeze in some writing now and then to keep me on my toes.

I'm single and hope to remain so until I've traveled and accomplished as many things on my bucket list as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't necessarily have a religious bent...I just fervently believe in Karma.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Never thought about fully getting into Couch surfing until recently.

I have a 3 bedroom apartment right in the middle of my city (close to train stations) and thought since I live alone could make use of the other rooms.

I also plan on taking trips around the world once I free up enough time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having just started I'm looking forward to creating some.

Interests

Music, listening to stories from people with interesting experiences.

  • writing
  • partying
  • traveling
  • music
  • surfing
  • tourism

Music, Movies, and Books

Love the movies but recently I've kinda been suckered into a lot of Television shows.

Game of Thrones...that red wedding episode rocked my world

Suits...always loved the witty fun of a good lawyer drama

Mad Men...it grows on you

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent one crazy night with a crime boss partying in Tokyo, it was just as crazy as the movie "Hangover".

Teach, Learn, Share

The HSBC bank has got it right with their motto:

"...Never underestimate the importance of local knowledge..."

A dummies handbook guide to an area of interest might be a good general knowledge start but always get the advice of people that actually live there.

Countries I’ve Visited

New Zealand, Tonga, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Fiji, Japan, South Korea
