I can read and speak some very basic French and German; and speak a tiny amount of Polish and Spanish.
I've visited a fair amount of western and central Europe over the years with a couple family holidays to Florida and South Africa.
I don't get to travel abroad in the summer months as much currently, but have usually managed an Alpine skiing trip in recent years (and one to Canada in 2018).
Being 5'5" means I'll fit comfortably on most couches!

One summer night I found myself sitting outside a Slovakian police station in a rural village with a lost dog on a makeshift rope lead, having trekked 50 miles over the border from Poland that day.

When I'm hosting I can show off the local outdoors, we're right on the doorstep of Loch Lomond National Park, known locally as Glasgows' playground.
