ABOUT ME

I currently live in New Jersey and work in PA for a cyber school (often work from home). It's a great experience to be able to support students and staff as they push through barriers that could make receiving an education a challenge. There's certainly a lot to do to support students.

I love to travel when I can. From my early teens, I started taking trips abroad (mostly service type trips) and I quickly grew a love for new cultures, new people, and new experiences. It's now a life mission to travel at least once a year (preferably abroad) so that I can find a space away from the everyday norms and also be reminded of the broader world and the perspective of other people in it.

I, personally, am more of a reserved, moderately introverted individual. I won't be the center of the party, but will join in the celebrations. I also love to ask others questions about their experiences. I think there's great wisdom to learn from others and to try new things. It's great finding shared connections with people.

I feel my personal mission is to support others in tangible ways as they seek to fulfill their personal mission and goals in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

New to the couch surfing scene, so for now I hope to try to surf and maybe host.

No experience yet, but hope to change that soon enough.

Interests

Volleyball, Travel, Education, current events, movies/tv, thinking about life and its daily experiences, enjoying a meaningful conversation with friends (usually while eating out), & time with family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving, which was amazing. I've lived in Honduras for 3 months and Hong Kong for 5 weeks. I chose to move near an amazing community of people who want to do life together.
