Chi sono

Hello!

I'm here to meet new people, exchange impressions about the world, host and be hosted with people that want to share good vibes.

I love to cook, ride bicycles, go on hikes, learn new languages, read and talk about life, the universe and everything. Let's connect!

I'm writing a book about my round the world travels, sharing the process at http://eusouatoa.substack.com/ (in portuguese).

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

This is the best network ever invented!

I've surfed in a lot of countries in Europe, Mexico and Brasil and met amazing people everywhere I went.

I'm always available for tea, coffee, fruit juice, beer, wine, gin&tonics... I can't host at the moment, but I hope I can start hosting soon.

Interessi

I'm mostly interested in travelling (of course!), cooking, reading literature, writing, design, photography and folding origami.

I like to hear and tell stories. Being in contact with people with different cultures and interests is what drives me to travel further and further.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Talking to a burmese monk about politics in one of the monasteries that started the saffron revolution in 2007. This was in 2012, while I was doing a round the world trip. I cried so much after it, for the hardness of the life there and also for thinking myself so lucky to live in this world and see kindness and happiness even where it´s so difficult.

"Couchsurfing" with a Bedouin family in Petra, Jordan. The mother, 30 years old, has 5 children and is pregnant again. She met me on the bus and, seeing that I was alone, invited me to stay with her and her family. They opened their house to me, introduced me to the whole family and took me to Petra through a Bedouin route where no tourists go. Unforgettable.

The salt desert in Bolivia - amazing! I couldn't stop staring at the white wilderness.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can teach how to cook brazilian, mexican and thai food (my style :P), how to fold origami and also help with portuguese, spanish and english language.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

Stories, laughter, music from everywhere and, most importantly, my time. We all have a limited amount of it and never know when it's going to end, so I wanna spend it with the best experiences. Getting involved with the couchsurfing community is definitely leading me to them.
