ABOUT ME

Since the moment I first set foot in a city away from home, I've been addicted to travel.

I embrace every moment the universe presents to me and try to experience it's full intensity and use it as an opportunity for growth.

I love puppies, when I see them my eyes get all glazed over like an anime character in love. Don't underestimate how long I can play with a puppy for!
I believe the answer to everything is Love.
I live my truth and follow my heart.
I think humans have lost touch with nature, and I'm always encouraging myself and me peers to reconnect with the earth.
I greet with hugs.
I'm open minded and a free spirit.
I'm a 'yes' girl.
I think philosophy is one of the most eyeopening things you can study.
I talk, a lot. I think a quality conversation is the key to connecting with other human beings, and I find it so much more fulfilling than going out to a nightclub!

I recently had the pleasure of backpacking through the USA and Canada with my friend Stacey, whom I shared this profile with. I've now edited the profile as I will be taking another trip to the States at the end of this year with another friend.

Until the USA, I was never tempted by the idea of traveling to the same place twice, however, I've fallen in love with the epic North American beauty - the landscapes and the people- and I feel like 4 months wasn't even close to enough time to explore all the wonderful experiences I could have in that amazing place.

PHILOSOPHY

Live my life without fear, prejudice or expectation.
Spread Love all around the world.
Reject cultural conditioning, ask more questions and seek higher knowledge and enlightenment.
To open my mind to all the answers to the questions I never thought to ask.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had some experience hosting and some experience surfing. I've also been to a few meetings, however I'd like to start participating in more events in my own city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted through couchsurfing and I've hosted just through meeting travelers out on adventures. I've also hosted friends from other countries who I've met through travels.
I've surfed several couches through the USA and met some amazing people and had many wonderful experiences.
I've only ever had one bad Couchsurfing experience which I probably could have avoided.

Intereses

Travel, hiking, adventures, human rights, animal rights, nature, people, facing fears, spontaneity, love, music, hippies, health and nutrition, drum circles, learning, film, literature, happiness, philosophy, psychology, science, physics, quantum physics, culture, intellectually stimulating conversation, video games, board games, any games, Zombies!

Oh and I have a theory that any situation can be made a little better with Puppies and a Cushion.

Amazing things I've done include living through two major car accidents and a poisonous spider bite, all in the space of a 6 days. Being left alone in the streets of Hong Kong at 17 years of age with no money, phone or sense of direction. Ate my first snow flake at the top of a mountain in Banff with a view that I don't even think my imagination could conjure. Having the most romantic kiss of my life overlooking NYC from the view of the empire state building. Snowboarding in a T-Shirt in California. Having my first family thanksgiving in California (5 out of 5 Californians thought my pumpkin pie was the best they've ever tasted!) Seeing the sun rise over the Grand Canyon. Getting lost on a hike in Sedona.
The sky and the ocean are pretty damn amazing every day in my hometown.

My yearning for learning knows no prejudice! Apart from EVERYTHING, I'd love to learn how to play an instrument, also will someone please teach me how to dougie?
There's nothing I won't share.
I can teach you how to cook anything! And I'm sure there are many more things I could teach you, it all depends on the individual :)
