About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Medical school with adventures in between.

ABOUT ME

I love to explore places, ideas, and new activities. I enjoy the outdoors, reading, philosophy, psychology, economics, science, and life in general. I traveled around the globe on semester at sea and then around the United States on a vegetable oil-powered school bus. I hike, camp, play guitar, hand drums, surf, like to cook, and like to eat even more.

PHILOSOPHY

Balance. Keep an open mind, an open heart, sense of adventure and live. Wisdom comes from wandering, and discovering directions along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm in Medical School, which keeps me very busy. Might have a couch to offer, but we are all pretty busy at the moment so might not be able to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Has always been a great experience. Surfed with 5 different people, hosted a few on the BioTour bus. It's been a while since I couchsurfed, but i am excited to start surfing again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled around the world in about 100 days on a Semester at Sea. (Fall 2004) Traveled to 45 states of the united states on a vegetable oil and solar-powered bus. Drove to from Florida to Nicaragua and back, twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll share some stories, some hopes, some adventures and music. I like to listen.

Things you can learn from me? I can show you how to run your diesel on vegetable oil. I read and discuss a lot of philosophy, economics, politics, environment and all sorts of nerdy topics. I'll be a medical doctor in less than 2 years, so I guess I could share some medical info, but still got lots of learning to do.

Countries I’ve Visited
