About Me

I graduated in 2017 and left a week later to hitchhike with a friend from Italy to India, ending up spending 3 years between Asia and Australia. Came back in 2020 and started my PhD in astrophysics in Bologna. In the meantime I like to explore new places, play guitar or whatever instrument, watch movies, dancing, have meaningful discussions but also stupid ones, and then, you know, a lot of ins, lot of outs, lot of what-have-you's.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best way to travel, it gives you a direct feel of what the place is, because you see the houses and the people from different points of view.
In the meanwhile it's the best way to travel remaining in your city: you let the travelers come in, with their wind of change. Plus I always discover something new of my city when I'm with guests

Interests

I love music as a drug, then I am interested in anything that stimulates my imagination, and can be in the form of a leaf, or a galaxy, or the movement of so many people in a plaza in a summer evening, or even paths that are created in our brains as we grow.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock and roll, drum and bass, punk hardcore, bebop, sad country songs, abstract electronica and folk and dance music from every culture.

I love movie directors David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Federico Fellini, John Carpenter, David Cronenberg, Satoshi Kon, Hayao Miyazaki, Sergio Leone, Quentin Tarantino, Pierpaolo Pasolini, Nicolas Roeg.

Some books I loved: The neverending story, Notes from underground, Blindness, Siddharta, One hundred years of solitude, Christ stopped at Eboli, Cacao.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking and playing Italian folk music in the streets of Armenia and Georgia, and then doing it again travelling by land from Italy to India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play guitar, bass, some keyboard and trumpet (very badly at the moment), sometimes I enjoy making my own bread, pasta and yogurt; I also love talking about the universe, from cluster of galaxies to what happens inside an atom

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook some classic italian meals, like pizza, pasta, tiramisu :)
