Overview
About Me
Hoi
My name is Flurin.
Sometimes I'm a backpack-traveller, other times I do a lot of hiking/camping trips, explore the beautiful landscapes around our world and meet a lot of awesome people! I want to see as much of the world as possible. But I'm convinced that it is not worth visiting a place, if you don't get to know local people, their culture, food, history and perspectives.
I draw a lot while travelling and always carry my sketchbook with me. Sometimes I also do murals.
I'm open minded, very tolerant and flexible.
Currently I'm studying Sociology and Cultural Anthropology at the University Basel.
Aaand I'm happily in love with my argentinian girlfriend Naimid!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's the easiest way to get to know the local people of a place you've never been to and don't know anyone from. As couchsurfing is about cultural exchange you learn about a lot of different ideas and perspectives. Couchsurfing in general helps therefore in connecting the world and to help us understand each other better.
