Hello, I'm Forest!

I am planning a move to Oregon from California for health reasons. Looking at the area in and around Ashland. Any suggestions or information greatly appreciated!

In a broad philosophical sense, I would call myself a pragmatic spiritualist, I feel that everything has form and function. Though I would say that a lot of times that is heavily obfuscated.

I am searching for connection. I have always found it very challenging to connect with people and places. After I traveled to Europe for the first time I realized that maybe it was that I had a very challenging time connecting with people and places I had been...

I find a lot of meaning and fulfillment in shared moments of happiness and laughter. And I hope to find many people to share many more moments with ;)

In December 2020 I had my appendix burst while in Honduras and have had consistent health issues ever since. Right now I am working on recovering fully from that medical experience and learning my way through healing from it.

I have realized I really love traveling because I love to experience what it's like to live in different places - What is the experience of life for the people that live there? What is going to a store like? What is there available to buy? What do the buildings look like? What is walking down the street like? These seemingly inane daily experiences are profound for me. They give me such a clear view of what my own life is like and I love to reflect on that.
