I'm Francesca, 23 years old, and I'm passionate about travel. I work as an e-commerce specialist. I was born in Italy and I currently live between Vicenza and Milan, I studied tourism, and later developed a passion for the digital world, which led me to my current job. I consider myself lucky as my work allows me to work remotely, hoping this will give me the opportunity to discover this beautiful world :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have already used Couchsurfing twice, in Hamburg during my interrail and in Paris during a trip with friends. Both were great experiences where I met wonderful people! At the time I was a student and did not travel much. Now, a few years later and with a job that allows remote work, I have been thinking about Couchsurfing again and the idea of having more experiences and meeting new people has me very excited! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I tune into a diverse array of music genres. Without a doubt, music provides a daily dose of dopamine for me! Italian singer-songwriters, pop, and rock still top my list of favorite genres. I'm into movies, but if I have to decide what to watch, the answer is always Friends 😅. When it comes to books, I favor those based on true stories!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Regarding travels, the two most incredible experiences for me were my Interrail trip in Europe (also my first experience with couchsurfing) and my road trip along the West Coast in the States. In terms of work, leaving my old job close to home to dive into a new one in a new city faraway where I knew no one, all to pursue my dreams, has been quite a journey. I look forward to chatting about our respective amazing experiences :)
