Hello everyone, I am Lin from Taiwan. I love to travel and meet different friends in different culture. I had backpacker's travel in Taiwan, so if you are interested in my country I can share them with you.
I also flight to Japan, HongKong, Australia, and now I am in New Zealand. During my trip I got so many helps from many guys, so I hope one day I am back to Taiwan I could also provide couch surfing to all you backpackers and share the stories of my city to you.
I was from Keelung city, an quite old harbor one, with many fishing and mining culture and is surrounded by ocean. If you would like to touch the local history, staying in Keelung for couple of days will give you a different traveling experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thought the "Couches Surfing" is the best way to experience the local life. Meanwhile, I could know other backpackers, share our stories further, and learn some foreign languages or even skills from them.I don't think there are anything more worthy to do than couch surfing during traveling. And since I have traveled alone couple of times, I could also do something housework and keep the accommodation clean instead of making the hosts troublesome because I always treasure all the helps from everybody.

Interests

I love literal composing and once won a novel award during military conscription. I love photographing as well,but with only my great partner handy,Sony TX, in instead of any professional cameras, because I have not any spaces to them in my backpacks. I also love travelling even haven't gone too many countries yet. Another interests is learning languages, I always learning foreign languages and even dialects with the new friends I met. climbing rocks and diving would also be funny to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

The best movie to me should be "The Shawshank Redemption", starred by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. The best saying and line from it is
"Hope is good thing, maybe the best part of the world. And no good things ever die."

My favorite book is Norwegian Woods, a novel from Japanese Composer Haruki Murakami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It should be my first backpacker travel- the bicycle one around Taiwan. Before that I have no any experience to travel by myself and even don't ride the bicycle well. I have four wishes wanted to complete, they are asking accommodation for police office, a random stranger. stay over night at school, and hitch hike. Fortunately I did all of them. It was an amazing tour to broaden my horizon and totally change my life. Since then I totally enjoy the backpacker trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I got the certificate to teach foreigners Mandarin. I was a teacher, and love to share our culture to everybody. And I also loving sharing the beauty of my country and the countries I have ever been.
