About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find beauty in the mundane//To meet people who change you//To inspire and change how I view the world

ABOUT ME

Most of my friends would describe me as a lovely person. So I guess I would agree with them. I am a pretty freaken awesome person. I love most people, and if I don't I try to learn how I can like them. I fill my time with good music, good friends, and good food. I crave depth and connectivity with others. I am open; but I like the word fluid (more) because I am open but not fully.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in God. I don't believe that my God is the only God, nor do I think religion is a platform to spew your opinions about others. I really enjoy the simplicity in living my life to the fullest. I am trying to learn to love better. I seek new people and new knowledge. I think the best teacher we have is the world around us. I seek to become a better listener. Not only of conversations but of my body; of my surroundings and of our earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the concept of couch surfing. I was just telling a friend the other day how people don't trust people like they used to. Our world is so fragmented. We hide under the guise of intimacy, as we stare into our laptop light. Couch surfing uses the web to connect people who crave to stare at the lights in the sky. I met some couch surfers through a friend and I really enjoyed those experiences. My friend hosted many couch surfers in Fukui Japan, so I decided to join up and surf! I have hosted two people in Fukui, and they were both splendid people who I can actually call friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for the first time this August in Paris. I met many other couch surfers there and had a great experience.
