About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just looking around

ABOUT ME

I'm a Geordie lad off on a round the world trip and hoping to couchsurf along the way. Most of all I enjoy spending time with a host and getting to know things that I wouldn't find on my own. I also like to get to know my host and spend time with them.

I'm an English teacher and I spend most of my days attempting to teach young people lots of different things; I have a range of success and failure with this. I like to think that teaching a range of students will help me get on with anyone really as I've met people from all sorts of backgrounds through teaching and am hoping that my experiences as a teacher will help me in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed about 20 times around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a great time meeting people and being shown their cities!

Interests

All sorts: Sport, reading, films, politics, music, games, travelling, education, history.

Interested in most things really; I'm really broad minded and am fascinated by stuff and love to learn new things all the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - anything really, I'm a huge film fan and have a huge collection. Saw The Best of Youth the other day and that was incredible!

Music - again anything from Mozart to Metallica; have performed in the past and was in a band once, might get back into music in the future.

Books - I've not been able to read as much since I became a teacher but my favourite book is 1984, I've just read the Ragged Trousered Philanthropists and think it's one of the best books I've ever read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing that I've seen is when kids learn something new and are proud of it.

Countries I’ve Visited
