About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be honest, learn, share, achieve

ABOUT ME

We love to travel and after short careers in the social sciences, we decided to teach English and travel a lot. Lisa first came to Turkey in 1990 and then we met in 1991. We bounced back and forth between Australia and Turkey for 15 years. In 2016 we moved to Portugal and now live in Lisbon. We both teach English and write. I have published three titles called "Inside Out In Istanbul", "Exploring Turkish Landscapes" and "Waiting for the Tulips to Bloom" that are available in paperback and as ebooks. Kim has written a book called "Out With the Boys: the Sharpie Days" about growing up in Sydney in the 1960s. Kim is also a photographer and makes documentaries for which I do the voice overs and music. We like to have dinner with friends, talk late into the night over a bottle of red, love discussions and dancing, going to the cinema, museums, art galleries, and exploring the city where we live.

PHILOSOPHY

Believe in yourself, trust yourself, solve problems as humanly as possible and be as self-sufficient as you can. Leave a good memory when you go.
