About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience all that life has to offer, good and bad.
ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and after I graduated High School, I entered the United States Air Force. This was a very rewarding and enlightening experience and I met and worked with a lot of great people. I would definitely do it all over again. Since I have been out I have lived and worked in Alabama which is where my first AF assignment was.
PHILOSOPHY
"If you are going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill.
I feel that everything happens for a reason. How you deal with different situations defines your character. I have learned throughout the years that it isn't worth worrying about little things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I was a senior in High School my family hosted a couple from Japan for a month. This was very enjoyable as we learned a lot about their culture and it turn, they learned a lot about ours. One thing that stands out is I remember they loved baseball. We took them to a Milwaukee Brewers game and I remember the husband commenting on how slow our baseball games went. He said in Japan, their games are very fast paced.
Interests
I like going to antique shows and flea markets. While I may not pick up many things, I enjoy seeing things that bring back memories of my childhood or items that were used in a different era. I especially like experiencing how life would have been lived in the 1930's to 1950's.
I also enjoy model railroading. This is something I started in my teens and have recently gotten back into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in the Air Force, I was deployed to Kuwait. This was during peacetime so I was able to see Kuwait City. As incredible as this was, I saw a more amazing thing when I was there. The base I was on had numerous examples of some of the havoc caused when Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990 and our war with Iraq after that. Feel free to ask me about this.
