About Me

Well, I live in Oakland though my heart still belongs to Wyoming (where I lived for a bit). I love being outside and taking other folks outside. Being able to get away from the city and into remote places is incredibly important to me.

I love to meet people and genuinely get to know them. I think the people that I've been while traveling have taught me so much. It's exciting to get insight into how people are living around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When moving to Oakland, I couchsurfed with some amazing people around the Bay Area until I found a place. Everyone was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to help me find a place. I want to return the favor.

Interests

My interest include hiking, backpacking, road biking, hosting dinner parties and reading. Lots of reading.

Most of my interests lie in activities that promote community - I like to share in outdoor activities with other folks who find solace in nature.

I also enjoy having lots of people over at one and doing what I love most, eat!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just came on a trip in which I explored the Patagonian region of Chile and Argentina. Amazing would be an understand, it's easily the most beautiful I've ever seen and I got to experience it in a beautiful way. We were afforded pristine camping and weather that encouraged exploring.

The people, the mountains, the culture....just ah, amazing!
