ABOUT ME

I grew up in Graz,a beautiful small City in Styria and went to school there.I was educated at an art high school where I did metal design and art history.Later on I moved to Vienna where I studied video art at the Academy of Fine Arts and also philosophy for a while.I was also a part of an art collective,doing exhibtions and producing a TV show with them for several years and worked in many different jobs from barkeeping to office jobs to video production.All I could get basically.I also lived in Stockholm for one year for my studies and in Washington State for a term when I was in high school.Traveling is something I really enjoy but my favourite is to get to know a city by actually living there for a while.Gives you a better picture of the mentality and the every day life of a place.
Right now I have moved to Munich and started my studies at the local film university in the field documentary film directing. Since the year has just started Im quite curious how things will develop..

PHILOSOPHY

I have many philosophies or rather theories. they change all the time so its better to sit down with me and discuss which ones are the ones present right now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortuntaly I dont have a couch to share right now. I just moved into the new flat in Munich and have a hard time adjusting to the busy schedule and the whole new environment. Id prefer to settle first and take some time and rest. But as soon as I will feel more comfortable here Ill share!

Interests

Definitely literature,movies,music and comtemporary arts,traveling,going out,sitting with coffee in the kitchen while chatting with my flatmate,biking through town or just lying around in the sun,thinkig of past events and possible futures.the daily life things we all know and enjoy.or sometimes enjoy less :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I had a big thing for folk singer/songwriter music for a long while and still do but since music has always been an essentiell part of me there are many directions I really like.I love dancing to electronic stuff as well as hiphop ,whatever makes me wanna dance.I have a band of my own and we are called jimmy jesus :) We are doing something we want to sound a bit like Bon Iver and the Bowerbirds but much weirder.We try to work with vocal choirs a lot,its been quite nice doing this.
Books..dont get me started and also movies.Its hard to decide on favourites if there are so many interesting productions and gifted producers out there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In a way I think the most amazing moments happen in the quiet.Of course there are general amazing things like living in a foreign country or doing something youve never done before.Maybe turning points in life are the most amazing ones you never forget.
