About Me

NOT GAY! Not interested in gay encounters.
I'm a calm, relaxed guy who enjoys simple things in life. Being in the digital, virtual, isolated, impersonal, stressful world of computing for more than 10 years made me realize that I was missing the all the cool things that this world has to offer and made me want to go back to the basics of human nature: discover new places, relate to new people, live new experiences, etc. I'm one of those who quited the job and became a traveler for several months. I'm back at home now, back into regular life but still a free spirit and backpacker at heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Backpacker culture is the way every society should be: they don't care how wealthy you look, if you have a big job or live in a cool neighborhood, which brand are the clothes you wear, etc. They only care about making friends, share live experiences and have fun. Meeting foerign travelers makes me scape from ordinary life and keep the backpacker spirit up until I can be able to hit the road again.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly like afro-latin music like salsa, reggae, jazz, blues, samba, and other caribean rythms, and any kind of music with accoustic instruments and big bands, but I also like classic rock and pop music. Above all I am always open to hear new music and I'm interested in knowing typical rythms and popular singers of each country. I love live music, specially jam sessions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job after years and years of the same routine, being able to finally break the chains and take the risk to leave it all behind in the sake of find a more fulfilling way to live life

Practicing spanish, computers maintenance, colombian culture exchange, and maybe some basic salsa dancing lessons. Also a trustworthy friendship.
