About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Not to pass each day, but to live it.

ABOUT ME

I live once and my motto is, that life is too short and live for today and not wait for tomorrow....."Live let others live". I grew up in a small town in India pretty much as a black sheep of the family (still am:), moved to NYC, studied fashion, currently working as a freelance designer for about 6 months a year and rest I spend traveling, exploring, working on a documentary and building a app.
Im openminded, thirsty for knowledge, independent.

PHILOSOPHY

I just read recently somewhere that...We are always preparing to live for the future that we forget to live today..I feel we have to live for today, while saving some for the future...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Luang Prabang, Laos I went on a solo bike ride to this elephant camp some 9kms out of town..It was crazy, I got lost few times, It was scorchingly hot. The road was like roller-coster. My water bottle kept flying off the bike, I couldn't peddle uphill sometimes..I almost had heat stroke while returning back and had to stop couple of times to sit in the shade to recuperate. At one point when I was resting under the tree, this girl on a bike stopped and started making weird signs with her hands. I couldn't understand what she was trying to say. It took me a min to realize that she was deaf and mute. Then I understood that she was inviting me to her place and want to feed me ( she had just done grocery shopping, and until that day I had not spoken to a deaf and mute person before) I just trusted her and followed. Laos is one of the poorest county in Asia. She took me to her boyfriend place, which was a tiny one room apt with a small stove in one corner and a bed in another. I chopped the vegetables and we cooked Laos food, we all ate together on the floor. I came to know they had never tasted Indian food. So next next day I returned with a local CS and cooked Indian food for them..These people were so poor, but they opened their doors and heart to me. This was one of THE BEST moments of my life and those 5 month solo trip..
