ABOUT ME

I recently came back to Finland from my second long-term visit to Canada and have now somewhat settled to Ruka where I worked for ski school during the winter season. This summer I will spend on helping tourists to discover the magnificent Oulanka National park. I love to hike, ski, run, be active and meet people from all around the world in the meanwhile!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is an adventure, that's pretty much how I try to live my life. Make every moment count and always, always look on the bright side.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done couchsurfing in Seattle, Mexico, and Switzerland. The experiences were very positive! My previous roommate was a host as well and in summer 2012 I had my first very own surfers at my own place. After that I have been traveling and now I finally have a house where I can take in surfers again.

I have met people from all over the world, and everytime it amazes me how alike people are even though we come from different parts of the world and different cultures.

It's my job to know pretty much everything about Ruka and Oulanka National, so you'll definitely get the best traveling tips for this region! I am specialized in Northern lights hunting ;)
