ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Hanwool Choi. You can call me just Han, I know US people cannot pronounce 'wool' well.
I'm 26 years old and come from S.Korea.
I was in Chicago 5 weeks for my summer school program. In Chicago, someone who I met in blues bar told me "You are not Asian, almost asian is not cool, but you are cool!" Many Koreans(and Asian) are shy when they talk with foreign people, but I'm not. I always try to hang out foreign people, make friends and talk with my not good English.
Always finding new things, don't wanna stuck in route. So I really want to meet new friends and ready to hang out.
Energetic person almost time, but I can feel sympathy to all type of people.

PHILOSOPHY

Before going hell, I want to do everything that I really want. Experience is the most important thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed once in Detroit during 8/31~9/4 in 2012.
He is really good person, and other hanging out with other guest was awesome experience!

Interests

My university life is full of Jazz. My instrument ability is not good. I learned Trumpet and Drum. But I ruined the concert twice so I'm playing just for hobby. haha. Now, I can play mouth trumpet(trumpet sound made by mouth) So I really like to listen music not only jazz, all kind of music. So I applied to Detroit Jazz Festival volunteering. I have to be there 23th Aug and 31th Aug to 3rd Sep.
I'm good at all kind of Sports(good at soccer but not football) and really enjoy Sports. If you like to play sports all the time, I can be a good partner for you.
