Hey! I'm Hayley, and I'm 34 years old. I am a middle school math and science teacher by profession and I was born and raised in Oceanside, California! Love San Diego, love going to the beach and enjoying the outdoors. Hiking, vegetarian cooking and traveling are some of my favorite ways to spend time. My husband and I live in a condo with our cat, Chico and would love to host you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I hiked the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in New Zealand which has the most spectacular views of Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings! Ask me and I'll show you photos.

-In 2015, I traveled to Brazil to visit friends. Little did I know, that trip would change my life forever. While exploring the vibrant streets, I met my future husband. Our chance encounter blossomed into a deep connection, leading to a beautiful love story. Immersed in the culture, I eagerly embraced Portuguese and became fluent. It was a journey of friendship, love, and discovery that transformed my life in unexpected ways.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook delicious vegetarian food, how to speak Portuguese (I lived in Brazil for three years), and how to bodysurf the waves at our local beach!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share all the advice in the world on how to travel cheap in New Zealand, Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, and Brazil. If you need help practicing English, I can do that too.
