About Me

Hi everyone! Couchsurfing to me is a modern way of creating global friendships through our shared passion for traveling and mutual cultural appreciation - and I can honestly say it's changed the way I travel forever. I've made some life-long friends that I care so much about through CS - but the journey isn't over yet!

I've recently moved with my husband to Switzerland and resigned from my job. In my last position I was the Associate Director for Admissions Data Analytics at my University I graduated from. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and Graduate Business Analytics Certificate.

My husband has CS too, his profile is:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can describe myself as adventurous, open-minded, and laid-back who can enjoy a night out for some beers and dancing or a chill night with good food, wine and conversations. If you have any advice on sights, traditional food, bars, etc. send me a message :)

Also, if you have any contacts with any type of volunteer programs or organizations I would LOVE to get involved when I'm in your city!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm extremely into music and can most definitely appreciate different genres - would 100% be interested in attending some concerts, festivals, or live shows while traveling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the first generation college student on both sides of my family, did a semester abroad in Northern Ireland, and the first person to leave the United States and travel in my family - which I haven't stopped since. I've been on quite a few adventures and have been extremely humbled by my experiences.

I successfully navigated myself around about 20 European countries during one trip after I graduated college. Then I took my parents and brother for a three-week adventure around Europe (their first time traveling)! And some other trips since then.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I travel I try my best to live like a local, not a tourist, which is why it'd be so cool to connect with people that can share a bit of their culture with me!

Let's swap travel stories!
