ABOUT ME

What can I say? I am a middle-aged guy with a passion for travel in unconventional ways.
I am tolerant of most things but I am allergic to cigarette smoke and I tend to go to bed before 11 so I dislike being called after 10PM.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a 1 bedroom place for people who are cool and respectful of my person belongings when they stay with me. I go to sleep early so I do not like to visitors to arrive after 10PM.
If you want to stay with me please let me know the exact date and time you will arrive at least a week before you are coming here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Feb.2009 I had a great time in Phuket with Kevin and Alisara.
In May 2009 I had a wonderful time with Lin who stayed with me Feb.2010 Sandy was so kind to let me stay with his family and take me around Jakarta. Varida was a gracious host and a funny person who let me stay with her. Satyr in Jan. 2010 then Tibo from France in May 2010.
2011 was fantastic time in Wudangshan because of the great CS people I met there and 2013 in Hawaii was really great.
I have not been active for a long time on this site because I was working 6 days a week. I hope to make new friends by connecting with the CS community again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tibet and the Tibetan Plateau. If you cannot go to Lhasa then take a trip by jeep through the town of Xining, Xiahe, Tongren and then end up in the lovely town near Lang Mu Si

Xinjiang is another great place in China that you must experience. I loved the people, the food, the old building, the culture and the natural beaty of the mountains and lakes.
