I’m 22-year-old girl from korea. and I study in Kyungpook University, South Korea. I major environmental engineering, so I am very interested in renewable energy, reserve nature, recycling something, protect environment.

To be honest, I can’t describe myself as a super funny energy bomb that is always 100% happy and speak english fluently, unlike a lot of people here on CS.

Yet I still am on adventurous girl, curious to find out what I don’t know, unafraid to try new stuff, and always staying optimistic. I think my passions are the activities which bring you great energy. I am happy to be a sincere, honest friend open to talk about anything.

I have a homestay experience in the UK as an exchange student. It was the best time to spend the evening with my host and my roommate Japanese friend learn and discuss each other's culture. We have different ways, but we can learn a lot by exchanging culture and we have become good friends. I am very happy with my experience so I would like to learn about the various cultures from around the world while traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thought couchsurfing is the best way to be absorbed in the local life of a place and share the culture. Not only wish to learn about different cities but also hope to make long-lasting friendships regardless of different background. it’s been the best part of my trip, and I’m looking forward to meeting diverse people from hosting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked in a Korea national environmental club called UNEP ANGEL. I tried to practice in my life by planting trees, carrying personal buckets, and not using disposable products. We also installed booths in schools to make recycled bracelets for children and helped to protect the environment. It was a meaningful experience to meet many people and to show the importance of saving and protecting our natural environment.
