It is hard to choose what to say to begin with, I am originally from the center of France lived in Mannheim Germany a few year and came recently back to France in Paris region. I got the amazing opportunity during my studies and working life to live abroad and travel in europe and am now enjoying the multicultural life in Paris region and its quiet suburbs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know the website since my student times but did not register then as I did not have the possibility to host back then (I did not know at this time that more simple meeting where also organized).
When I begun to work I used the website to host and organize time to time couchsurfing meeting in Mannheim with this wonderful community.
I can be really thankful to this website as it brought me some good friends as well as some wonderful stories about foreign countries that gave me the will to travel (I need the time for that know).

Concerning my use of the website I am happy to host , but also interested in the other aspects of couchsurfing (meet for visiting the city, couchsurfing meetings, language café).

Music, Movies, and Books

It is hard to give a precise list, for movies I like to watch international road movies that make me travel, for instance I like really much "The motorcycle diaries" (a film about the travels of Che Guevara in South America ) ; Ken Loach social commedies and Michel Gondry/Wes Anderson movies are also on my top list . I would recommend warmly the visit of the Mannheim internationnal movie festival in autumn.
For music it is even more difficult, I would say I like almost everything as long as enougth originallity and talent is there.
About book I sadly don't have time to read to much now, but we can definitely exchange on that.
