About Me
ABOUT ME
My name is Igor, I work as an English translator, I have bachelors degree in finance. I travel whenever I have the chance, have been to travelling to the Uk, the Netherlands and Germany over the last year.
To be honest I made this account a decade ago and completely forgot about the concept. Only to realise my folly today while looking for the 100th hostel or motel I'd be staying at since my arrangement for accommodation was cancelled.
I consider myself to be very open minded and communicative - no judgement from me, I love meeting new people and haning out (although it's not a necessity). Love to have deep conversations about different subjects - and I'm very much capable having friendly disagreements (so no need for filters).
My family own a building in downtown Sarajevo that used to be a small hotel but it's been closed due to issues with the co-owner. Certainly willing to accommodate.
Philosophy: Don't take yourself too seriously and enjoy your time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
No experience so far unfortunately, hoping to get started now.
Interests
I have plenty of interests. First and foremost I love meeting new people and making friends when possible. Other than that I love being outdoors, going for drinks at bars or watching a football match. Also an avid animal lover, have a cat, had a dog until recently (she unfortunately passed away).
Love to have long discussions about complex subjects.
If I stay home then I'm probably reading a book or watching a movie.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music depends on the mood. Don't really mind anything. My favorite writer is Wilbur Smith (I love adventure novels). I do like attending concerts, although it's not my first go to option for having fun.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Met a 1000 people, cuddled a 1000 dogs, visited a 1000 places and I can't wait to do it all over again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach languages and my countries history. Would also love to learn about other places
What I Can Share with Hosts
Other than making a friend and hanging out, I am also more than glad to help out with work around the house if needed. Also willing to explore alternative options if the host has any ideas - sharing costs and such
