Hey! I am Ildar, from the Turko-Persian name "Ildar", meaning "Lord of the Lands".

I am a pipeline engineer in Oil and Gas Company on Sakhalin Island in the Far East of Russia.
I can summarize who I am in three words: calm, open-minded, respectful.

I love languages, sports, having a good coffee or wine and conversation, travelling as much as possible, hanging out with friends, and enjoying the world. Now I'm learning Spanish and to play tennis.

For me, the Couchsurfing project is about more than finding a place to crash for the night. It has always been about meeting and connecting with people from around the world. I love hearing from folks that feel the same way!
