Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really love to share, life would be awful without that, I'm happy to open my house and my smile to travellers and I feel happy when I'm welcome to another person's house and life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had plenty of great experiences with CS but even some bad ones so please READ BEFORE ASKING COUCH:

GHOSTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
If you ask me to be hosted, I accept and then you disappear without saying nothing you get a guaranteed negative reference.
I lost too many weekends waiting for rude and opportunistic "couchsurfers".

I'M A COUCHSURFER, NOT A SEXSURFER.
Should be obvious but after some things I heard/seen I think is better to be clear.
If you're a female and I'm asking/offering you couch is not because you looked pretty in the pics and not because I'm trying to get laid.

COUCH SURFING IS NOT FOR SAVING HOSTEL'S COST!
For sure help to have a budget travel but I don't go and don't accept people just for saving money! CouchSurfing is knowledge, sharing and smiles, so please NO FREELOADERS, APROVECHONES, SCROCCONI ETC.

NO SMARTPHONE/TABLET ADDICTED PLEASE:
Everyone is free to live his life as prefer but is really uncomfortable for me to have around my place people that is unable to pay attention 1minute without watching a screen and talk to you without looking in the eyes.
Obviously is not forbidden to use any kind of device and spending time on the internet (you can use my lap too) for the thing that anybody want/need to do (especially travelling is important to connect), but screen addiction is a different thing.

I can "teach" italian vegan cooking by spending time together in the kitchen!
