About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live fully, do for others, create a vision and follow my passions.

ABOUT ME

I am a mother of five grown children. Now I am free to do many things that I had no time for before. My passion is dancing, now mostly Middle Eastern and International folk-dancing. I have a rich family history that includes many countries, and I consider myself a world citizen. My dream is for world peace.

PHILOSOPHY

"If I am not for myself, who is for me? And if I am only for myself, who am I? If not now, when?" - Hillel

"Do onto others as you would have them do onto you" - The Golden Rule

We Are One

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing. My son has been doing it for years and told me about it. I love the idea of meeting people that live in the area I plan to travel to, and getting the "in" on how people live there.

I live in rural Vermont, but not far from Dartmouth College and ski resorts, if visitors are interested in that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a wonderful woman in Toronto for a week; I've hosted my son's couch surfers three time for a winter getaway from NYC.

Interests

Bellydancing, international folk dancing, hip-hop dancing, music, hiking, nature, painting, drawing, sewing, animals.

The Profit - Kahlil Ghibran

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Haiti 3 weeks after the earthquake and nursing the injured was the most incredible experience. I became so fond of the resilient and spirited Haitians. Two weeks of 14+ hour workdays wasn't enough for me.

The other most amazing thing is having my 5 children...truly a humbling and rewarding experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my dance experience...belly dancing is a wonderful thing for any woman to do. It is so much fun and can get very spiritual also. The music as fabulous.
I love to share anything I know, and I want to learn things that can bring joy and health to others.

Countries I’ve Visited
