About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Now that I have a base in Malta, I would love to host people and give back to the community of Couchsurfing, as it was such a gift whilst I was a traveller. Saying that, I still look forward to surfing, as I find it is the best way to travel by far :)
ABOUT ME
After 5 years living as a Nomad, and spending my days exploring the world and myself, I now find myself living on a little Mediterranean island called Gozo in Malta. I have been here since 2020 and live with my partner Corinna and our cat "Pisello".
I have always had a strong connection with food. So much so that is has been my way to communicate and connect with the world around me, both on a personal and professional level. I love intimate dinners with good food and good conversation.
Curiosity and novelty drive me to keep exploring and learning new things, my current focus being the new world of Web3 and NFTs. I believe the technology will impact all industries and bring new opportunities to all of us. I am just fascinated by it all.
I love change and kind of need it to feel alive - I cannot be still for too long. I love brainstorming, learning, creating and being part of new projects. Travelling solo to new places and meeting new people fills me with wonder and awe.
I enjoy time to myself but equally love meeting people and exchanging life experiences. I am not much of a party animal, and much prefer an early rise over a late night out.
Maybe references below from people I have met or who have hosted me are a good way to get a feeling for me...?

PHILOSOPHY
Knowing that ultimately I don't know humbles me and puts everything into perspective.
The less I have, the more I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a solo traveller, the Couchsurfing platform and community was one of the biggest blessings. Meeting and staying with local people became my favourite way to travel. I am so grateful for the experiences and friends I made along the way.
Now that I have been stationary for 3 years and have a place I call home, I would like to experience what it means to be a host and do my best to live up to the wonderful hosts I met as a surfer :)
To connect, exchange and share life.

All sorts of movies, although am more into series these days: Breaking Bad and Vikings are favourites of mine.
